Average temperatures in May range from a Low of 24°Celcius/75° Fahrenheit to a High of 32°Celcius/89°Fahrenheit.

Negril, Jamaica is one of the most lush and tropical destinations as it is located very close to the equator. In May you can expect an isolated shower between 1pm-4pm for about 15-30 minutes. Don’t fear the weather forecasts that show rain everyday, most of the time it’s just a light sun shower that is refreshing due to the afternoon high temperatures. Once the rain clears you can expect the most incredible sunsets that Negril is famous for.

Burning orange sky caused by the light from the Sun scattering through the atmosphere makes Negril’s sunsets simply magical. Due in part to the afternoon rainfall that clears any particles in the atmosphere bringing with it the brightest of sunsets that will have you staring in awe. Oh yeah and don’t forget to watch for the blue spark as soon as the sun disappears over the horizon.

We offer Airport Shuttle Bus service from Montego Bay’s Sangster Int’l Airport. We recommend booking your airport transfers before your trip. Visit our TRAVEL page to buy your shuttle passes. Only $80 for return service. Click HERE to purchase your shuttle pass

Our recommendations for you to get to and from your hotels to the festival venues.

Walking:
– If you are staying on the beach we encourage you to walk from sunrise to sunset to the beach venues. Although the beach is safe we advise that you do not walk on the beach in between hotels after dark. We recommend to walk the main road to your destination at night.

– Festival Taxi Service: Upon arrival you will be provided with a list of official festival drivers that will be on call day and night. Rates will be charged per person or group rate for 4 or more passengers. Rates will be provided at our Box Office.

– To arrange a private driver for airport service or during the festival please call our Transport Manager Alex via What’s App at 1.876.362.4443

We strongly encourage you to take out Medical Travellers Insurance before arriving to Jamaica.

We also highly recommend pre-registration with Comforts of Home Nursing Services before your arrival for 24/7 telephone triage questions, concerns or to request a priority  hotel call.  For Info Visit www.j.mp/comfortsJA
