A Storyteller, Dancer, Choreographer, Writer, and Director is a native to the DC Metropolitan Area. Having trained at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and Dance Theatre of Harlem Kennedy Center Residency and receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at Dominican University of California Alonzo King LINES Ballet, her professional career took off where she performed on concert stages, for collegiate festivals, on film and in major productions including role of Tantomile in the Tony Award Winning Broadway Show CATS. Her life in dance led her to Science and study of the human body through a specialized technique and movement modality that heals, restores and resets the body through Breathing Series of rhythmic breathing and spinal exercises called GYROTONIC®/GYROKINESIS®.
Harley is a Certified GYROKINESISⓇ Instructor, Optimal Life Breath Pathologist and Energy Healer helping dancers, athletes and everyday movers alike improve their quality of movement, increase gain and agility to prevent injury. She is an International Practitioner and among the forerunners in International Association for Blacks in Dance. She believes firmly that they body has the power to heal itself through actively listening and diligent response. The work that she does is exploratory and includes Shamanic practices that naturally generate a sense of connection to the DIVINE from the inner-being, outward. Her Health/Wellness brand, Beebodi is both a journey of her personal life and testament through healing and naturapathy as well as a guide to creating a personalize wellness plan and regimen for others.
