Tmrw.Tday is excited to be continuing our community outreach efforts in Jamaica with our Konscious Kids program taking place at Irie Soul Beach. In partnership with Island Routes & Sandals Foundation, this year, 20 kids from Negril All Ages school will tap into their inner strengths and activate their self-expression. Environ- mental education will also be an integral component as there will be an opportunity for the kids to learn about earth’s natural beauty through animal and sealife exploration. In addition, Tmrw.Tday is working to build the first skatepark in Jamaica called “Freedom Park” which will be captained by local skate geniuses Ivah Wilmot and Shama Beckford.

Tmrw.Tday also participates in a series of environmental initiatives. In 2017, we screened the poignant documenta- ry film A Plastic Ocean which was followed by an informative panel discussing the issue of plastic waste. For 2018, Tmrw.Tday has partnered with 360 Recycle Jamaica to begin the process of becoming a zero-waste festival in support of the Negril Coral Reef Preservation Society and A Plastic Ocean. Join us in Negril for Tmrw.Tday Cultural Fest, May 1-6, where indulging others is equally as important as indulging the self.

Konscious Kids is a philanthropic initiative developed by Tmrw.Tday, where we treat the kids at various schools in Jamaica with a plethora of wellness and inspirational activities at Irie Soul Beach.

In 2017 we partnered with the Island Routes Foundation and developed an educational, health & wellness beach day for 20 kids from Lucea Primary School. The kids had the time of their lives and we are excited to further develop this community outreach program in 2018.

A Plastic Ocean Foundation
The problem of plastic pollution is growing exponentially every year; we are producing more than 300 million tons of plastic, half of this is designed for single use, and each year around 8 million tons of it ends up in our oceans. We can solve this problem and we can do it by educating and engaging everyone in a conversation to rethink plastic. Plastic Oceans is working to change the way we deal with plastic waste by challenging society’s perception that this indestructible substance can be treated as ‘disposable’.
