His immense vocal abilities won him numerous fans, even before he began singing professionally. By his mid-teens Romain became the lead singer of his high school choir, which placed second out of sixty contenders on All Together Sing, the weekly scholastic choir competition broadcast on the Jamaican television network TVJ;
Romain’s dynamic voice established him as a national celebrity. Over a decade and three albums later, Virgo has managed to etch his name into the households of the Jamaican people and fans worldwide through his infectious tunes like Who Feels It Knows It, Fade Away and I Am Rich In Love. His latest album, LoveSick, debuted in 2018 at the number one spot on the Billboard Reggae Chart while he toured Europe promoting the project in the spring.
