Tmrw.Tday is all about connecting the mind, body, and soul. This week’s tribe leaders have been doing this for years, and it is now something they’re sharing with us and the rest of the world.

Miranda and Ryan, better known as the Acro Buddhas, travel around the world sharing the beautiful gift of movement through acrobatic yoga. They have spent years practicing different lineages of yoga and come from backgrounds of personal training, competitive dance, competitive cheerleading, gymnastics, muay thai, thai massage, and a highly refined acrobatic yoga practice. It truly shows that they are masters of movement – but better yet, they are two amazing souls that bring light to everyone they encounter.

Explain what you do and the journey of how you got there.

Through movement art, acro yoga and spiritual alchemy our work is in inspiring others to redefine their perception of what is possible and reclaim a piece of themselves that is longing to be seen, felt and heard.

How do you stay motivated? Do you have any daily rituals?

We believe staying motivated is about having a plan of action to reach goals, but within that plan of action it’s imperative to recognize when it’s time to steer a different course.  When we are too attached to a specific plan to reach a goal, it’s easy to miss beautiful opportunities that can also provide happiness and fulfillment. There is a fine line of understanding resistance and redirection; and learning how to hone in on these two variables is the secret to staying motivated and coming into a state of flow in alignment with your highest callings.

Our daily rituals depend on what part of the world we are in.
To share one of our favourite rituals that takes place while we are at Tmrw.Tday on 7-Mile Beach, is that we start our day with a cleansing dive into the ocean.

A lot of people are preoccupied thinking about the past or worrying about the future. How do make sure that you live in the present?

Deep breaths are the secret to living in the present.
When you wake up.
When making big decisions.
When feeling profound emotions.
Before a meal.
Before responding to something that makes you feel anxious.
Before indulging.
Before saying hello.
Before saying goodbye.
After receiving a compliment.
After reaching a goal.
Whenever you think about it.
Whenever you catch your mind racing.
Whenever you need to get out of your head and into your heart.
When you feel gratitude.
Breathe it all in.
Breathe it all out.
Our breath is our connection to the present.  It roots us into ourselves. It’s a check-in with the self.  It’s so simple but so easy to loose track of. One breath at a time is the secret to staying present.
Embrace the journey; the dark, the light, and every shade in between.
Breathe into it all.
Inhale. Exhale.
Again, and again, and again…

Love is a very important aspect of Tmrw.Tday, and we each have special and unique ways of showing love to the world. How do you spread love?

We spread love by helping others journey into uncovering untapped potential and the ways we limit our life.  Ask yourself, am I surviving or thriving? By tapping into the vibration of love, we facilitate experiences and conversations that open us up to expand into the unknown and reclaim our power from which we were born – love.

What is your biggest piece of advice for someone who is facing a challenge or feels like they want to take that next step towards something, but are scared or unsure?

Nothing grows or changes when we are stagnant.
If you’re seeking change, be the change.
Take the leap.
It’s okay to fail.
In fact, you will fail at first.
Keep moving forward.
Don’t be afraid of growing slowly.
Only be afraid of staying still.
Nothing grows or changes when we are stagnant.

What was the biggest thing you took away from last year’s festival?

We all simply seek to be loved.

And finally, what are you most excited for at TT19?!

Connecting with souls from all over the globe.  Together we rise through the vibration of love. <3

We can’t wait to experience the magic of acro yoga with the Acro Buddhas at this year’s festival. If you want to experience the magic with us, head here.
